Harliss L. "Bud" Bean

Harliss “Bud” L. Bean, age 78, of Lewisburg, Ohio died on Thursday, August 19, 2021.  Born on July 10, 1943 in Whitesburg, Hawkins County, Tennessee, son of the late, Claude Leonard & Minnie Bell (Bowlin) Bean. 

Harliss proudly served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963.   

He was a Truck Driver for many years and known as “Chicken Farmer” and also drove over 3 million miles across the USA.  Member of the Teamsters Local 957. 

Preceded by Sister, Ann Baker; Brothers-in-law, Wayne Baker and Fred Vogel.

Survived by his Wife of 33 years, Glenda Bean; Sons, David Bean, Ronald (Amy) Bean, Jimmy Bean and Kristopher (Kristin) Ketron; Siblings, Charles (Gloria) Bean and Kay Vogel; Grandchildren, Tara Gibson, Shawn Bean, Megan Bean, RJ Bean, TJ Bean, Hope Burton, Faith Burton, Austin (Ciara) Bean, Mason Bean, Dillon Ketron and Allison Ketron; 7 Great Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. 

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. prior to the funeral.  Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.  Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
