Harley David Vice, 73 of West Alexandria, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio. Born on August 22, 1947 in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harley E. and Mary E. (Medley) Vice. He was a graduate of Eaton High School and was retired from AK Steel in Middletown where he was a Crane Operator for many years. Harley enjoyed restoring vintage cars and participating in many local car shows. Helping others was one of his greatest joys and spending time with his family and friends. Harley was a member of the Poasttown First Church of God in Middletown where he was active with the Food Pantry and the Restoration for Addicts Ministry.
In addition to his parents, Harley is preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Sue Pheanis and his brother, Jerry Vice.
Survived by his wife of 10 years, Jewel (Strong) Vice; children, Jonathan (Tamara) Vice, Tim (Leeanna) Vice, Penny Vice, Crystal (Steve) Tye, Shawn Tye, Randy Tye and Rusty Tye, sisters, June Flynn and Wilma Jean Crouse; brother, Michael Ray Vice; grandchildren, Harley Rebecca Vice, Chyann Jenkins, Jacob Allen Vice, Destiney S. (Sam) Wells, Anthony J. (Miranda) Gilbert, Ashley Gibbs, Pete D. Gibbs and Jade, Harley, Izabella, Maddox and Brayden; great grandchildren, Violet, Adrianna, Cayden, and Elainah; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Poasttown First Church of God, 6376 Germantown Rd., Middletown, Ohio 45042 with Pastor Kevin Beck officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations please be made to the Poasttown First Church of God-Food Pantry, 6376 Germantown Rd., Middletown, Ohio 45042.
