Gwendolyn Lee Swerer

Gwendolyn L. “Gwen” Swerer, 79 died Monday, January 1, 2018 in Richmond, IN. Born on May 25, 1938 in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Glen L. & Mary A. (Martin) Black. She was a 1956 graduate of Johnsville-New Lebanon High School. Preceded in death by her daughter: Jill Rebecca Swerer in 2015; sister: Carol Ann Black in 1988.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: James R. Swerer; Daughters & Son-in-law: Kay Zizert and Janet (Ronnie Dean) Lawson; sister: Barbara (John) Mondics; Granddaughter: Bonita Zizert; Great Granddaughter: Brandi Zizert.

A Family gathering will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 4 - 5 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH. Inurnment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH.
