Gregg T. Schutte

Gregg T. Schutte, age 59 of Richmond, IN was killed Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in a truck accident on U.S. Rt 27 & Indiana 32 in Winchester, IN. Born on August 23, 1956 in Hamilton, OH, Gregg was a 1975 graduate of National Trail High School. He was a truck driver for 28 years at the Richmond Recycling Center. Member of Sugar Grove Community Church in Greens Fork, IN; Cleveland Browns avid fan; enjoyed fishing, John Wayne, trading cars and a member of the Civil War reenactment 5th Virginia Unit. Preceded in death by his father: Norbert J. Schutte in 1999; twin brother: Craig A. Schutte in 2011.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years: Diana L. (Davies) Schutte; children: C. Christopher (Stephanie) Wright of Richmond, IN and Adam Jacob (Latisha) Schutte of Fountain City, IN; Mother: Gladys J. (Hemmelgarn) Schutte of Richmond, IN; grandson: Matthew (Kristin) Wright; Sister: Rebecca A. Borck of New Paris, OH; Brother: Charles A. Schutte of Arcanum, OH; Numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday April 8, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home – 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH. The funeral service will be held on 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Adam Rinehart officiating. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery – Greens Fork, Indiana.
