GOLDIE C. ADAMS, age 87, of Verona, Ohio died Monday, November 3, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on March 29, 1916 in Trotwood, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Hiram F. “Frank” & Nellie Blanche (Kneisley) Thoroman. She was a 1934 Stebbins High School graduate, member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #7262 in Greenville, Ohio, Eastern Star Englewood Chapter #563 and member of the Gordon United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by Husband: James Deem Adams in 1984; Sisters: Faye Thoroman, Peggie Hutchison and Maybelle Roberts; Brothers: Ray & Paul Thoroman.

Survived by Daughter: Bonnie L. (Adams) Rahim, Yellow Springs, Ohio; Companion Cat: Rocky; Granddaughter and Spouse: Fran D. (Boyd) & Mark J. Ruddell, Dayton, Ohio; Grandson: Dr. K. André Rahim, Cincinnati, Ohio; Sister: Loretta “Retta” Krug, Belmont, Michigan; Special Nephews: Robert Hutchison and Fiancée Kathy Stewart, Aberdeen, Kentucky, Don A. Krug and wife Jan, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Larry Thoroman and wife Susie of Florida; Other Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2003 - 1:00 P.M. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David Hood officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2003 from 3 - 7 P.M. at the funeral home with Eastern Star Service at 6:30 P.M. and V.F.W. Service at 6:45 P.M.
