Gloria S. Juday

Gloria Sue Juday, 82, of New Paris, OH, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, IN. Born on July 4, 1934 in New Madison, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Flaig) Lipps. Gloria was a bank teller at Farmer's State Bank in New Madison, OH for many years, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Shumaker in 1974; second husband, James E. Juday in 2009; son, Anthony "Tony" Shumaker in 2009; sisters, Leah Watkins, Betty Gabbard, Katherine Simpson and Jean Fisherback and brother, Joe Lipps.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Jerry Gabbard; son, Kem Shumaker; step daughter, Jeryl Sims; grandchildren, Amy and Jason Gabbard; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with a memorial graveside service to be held at later date in Otterbein Cemetery near New Madison, OH.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Food Bank at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, P.O.Box 194, New Paris, OH 45347.
