Gladys M. Ross

Gladys M. Ross, age 90, formerly of Arcanum, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Sterling House in Greenville, Ohio. Born on November 18, 1915 in Saratoga, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William H. & Delphia M. (Gray) Hobbs. Gladys was a member of the Abbottsville United Methodist Church near Arcanum, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years: Chester F. Ross in 2000; brothers: James Hobbs in 1994 and Ovid Hobbs in 1995.

She is survived by son & daughter-in-law: Chester “Ronnie” & Rosalie Ross of Arcanum, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law: Linda L. & Robert Good of West Manchester, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law: Verna M. & Roy Woolridge of Bradford, Ohio; sister-in-law: Faye Hobbs of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren: Robin & Marcus Medrano of Bradford, Ohio and Ronald Craig & Becky Ross of Arcanum, Ohio; great grandchildren: Abby, Cory, Dillon, and Rosie; various nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 - 11:00 A.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Gordon Jones officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
