Geraldine F. Payne

GERALDINE F. PAYNE, age 82, of Bonham, Texas and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, July 17, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Texas. Born on March 8, 1924 in Bluford, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Gale W. and Ferne Freda (Halbrooks) Clemons. She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Eaton and the Preble County Senior Citizens. She is preceded in death by her son William A. Payne in 1996 and her sister Jean Lipscomb in 2005.

She is survived by her son Robert L. Payne, Jr. of Ohio; daughter & son-in-law Rebecca & Richard Glaser of Bonham, Texas; grandsons Nick Payne and Chadd Jones both of Texas; great-grandchildren Ashley Cozart & Devin Payne of Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jay Madigan officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
