Georgia Mae Evans

GEORGIA MAE EVANS, age 81 of New Paris, Ohio, died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at her residence. Born on September 21, 1924 in Shields, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry & Carrie Elizabeth (Martin) Garner. She was a retried cook and was active in the activities of the Masonic Lodge in New Paris and Order of Eastern Star Chapter #290 of Lewisburg. Preceded in death by Husband: Earl O. Evans in 1996; Sister: Marie Evans in 1986.

She is survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: Robert & Karen Hager, New Paris, Ohio; Close Friends & Caregivers: Gerri & Leonard Morgan and family of New Paris. Grandchildren: Amanda Mann, Robbie & Danny Hager; 5 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris with Rev. Gilmer Smith officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 10, 2006 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 W. Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Eastern Star Service at 8:00 p.m.
