George W. Dietrich

George W. Dietrich, age 94 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on July 9, 1909 in Montgomery County, Ohio he was the son of the late George & Mary (Mason) Dietrich. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1926 and retired in 1970 from Inland Manufacturing after 28 years of service. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church - Lewisburg, Ohio, Lewisburg Young At Heart, Verona Senior Citizens, Lewisburg Lions Club, Twin Valley Grange, Libanus Masonic Lodge #80 of Lewisburg, Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons - Palmyra Chapter # 285 of Brookville, Ohio and Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. Preceded in death by Wife: Florence M. Dietrich in 1994, Sister: Clara Jackson in 1994.

Survived by Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Carrie M. & Gregory Steele of Lewisburg, Ohio, Georgia J. & Larry Davis of Boonville, Mo. and Melva J. & James Snyder of Columbus, Ohio. Grandchildren: Jason Steele, Justin Steele, Jodi Davis, Byron Davis, Brad Snyder and Kenneth Snyder.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2003 - 11:00 A.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent L. Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens - Brookville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 17, 2003 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home with Masonic, Eastern Star and Grange Services beginning at 7:30 P.M.
