George R. Miller

George R. Miller, 81, of Dayton, OH and formerly of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, July 1, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on July 16, 1931 in Newark, OH, son of the late Ralph & Janet (Watling) Miller. George retired after 30 years in Construction from Moyer Paving in Clayton, OH. George proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Preceded by his son, Todd R. Miller in 1984; sister, Rosemary Anderson.

Survived by his wife, Gilda F. Miller of Dayton, OH; daughter, Heather Perry of Eaton, OH; brothers, John, Earnest, and Walter Miller all of Michigan; sister, Caroline Clacher of Michigan; three grandchildren, Kelsee, Dustin, and Oliva.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 8, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH with military honors provided by the Preble County Honor.
