George E. Dearth, Jr.

George E. "Sonny" Dearth, Jr., age 49, of Trenton, OH and formerly of Eaton, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1962 in Dayton, OH. In 1985, Sonny became a quadriplegic after an accident on Eaton-Lewisburg Road. He was a 1980 Eaton High School graduate and had worked at Decca Recording in Richmond, IN. Preceded in death by his Father: George E. Dearth, Sr. in 1984 and a nephew Mikey Dearth in 2004.

Survived by his Mother: Roberta Ann (Gibbs) Dearth – Stephens; Brother: Michael A. Dearth, Camden, OH; Sisters: Rebecca A. (Jim) Lowman, Eaton, OH, Cynthia G. Wolf and Steve Ridenour, Trenton, OH, Pamela K. Dearth, Eaton, OH; Special Great Aunt: Mabel Dearth, Eaton, OH. Nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery near West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
