Geoffrey S. Garnett, 33, of Gratis Township Preble County, OH, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 after an industrial accident at the Cohen Recycling Center in West Carrollton, OH. Born on July 31, 1981 in Butler County, OH he was a 2001 Preble Shawnee graduate and graduated from the Hobart Welding School in 2002. He was employed at the Cohen Recycling Center in Middletown, OH for 13 years. Geoffrey was a member of the American Welding Association, creative in fabrication and owned a customized 1936 Diamond T big rig. Preceded in death by a nephew: Logan Hesselbrock in 2011.
Survived by his Wife: Heather R. (Bulach) Garnett; children: Luke Garnett, Owen Garnett and Allie Garnett; father & mother: Charles E. & Valerie J. (Groves) Garnett of West Elkton, OH; mother-in-law & father-in-law: Sandy & Dave Bulach of Millville, OH; brothers & sisters-in-law: Charles A. & Jennifer Garnett and Tim A. & Ashley Garnett both of Camden, OH; sister-in-law & brothers-in-law: Michelle & John Hesselbrock and Michael Bulach all of Millville, OH; nieces & nephews: Collin Garnett, Alexa Garnett, Beau Garnett, Bailey Garnett, Jacob Hesselbrock and Landon Hesselbrock; cousins and many friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church – 35 North Liberty Street Camden, OH. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the church with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH.
