Genevieve M. Eggers

GENEVIEVE M. EGGERS, age 72, of West Alexandria, OH, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on September 9, 1931 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late William & Genevieve (Erlewein) Friewer. A graduate of the University of Dayton with a Master’s Degree in Education she retired in 1983 from the Wayne School District in Huber Heights after teaching the third grade for 25 years. Member of the Richmond Bridge Club in Richmond, IN and the Oxford Bridge Club in Oxford, OH. Member of the State of Ohio Retired Teachers Association and Member of the Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, OH.

Survived by her Husband of 44 years: Erich L. Eggers; Son and Daughter-in-Law: Erich L. & Kelly Eggers of Centerville, OH; Daughter and Son-in-law: Susan & Bill Muenchow of Waukesha, WI; Brothers: Roger and Owen Friewer both of Chicago, IL; Grandchildren: Christine and Lindsey Eggers and Jackie and Greg Muenchow.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2003 - 10:30A.M. at the Visitation Catholic Church - 407 East Main Street - Eaton, OH with the Rev. Eugene Vonderhaar officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday October 31, 2003 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main St. - Eaton, Ohio. A Rosary Service will be held at 8:45 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the CMTA - 2700 Chestnut St. - Chester, PA 19013.
