Gary Lee Burdette

Gary Lee Burdette, age 61, of Somerset, Kentucky died Sunday, July 30, 2006 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Born on October 2, 1944 in Winchester, Indiana, he was the son of the late Carl Stanley & Ada (Johnson) Burdette. He was a 1962 Jefferson Township High School graduate in New Paris, Ohio. He was a 1969 graduate of Tri State University in Angola, Indiana. Gary served in the United States Army. He retired in 1999 from General Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio as the Lead Engineer and Facilities Manager.

Survived by son & daughter-in-law: Jeffrey Alan & Lori Burdette of Fairborn, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law: Renee M. & Steve Moy of Norwalk, Connecticut; sister & brother-in-law: Lora Louise & Drew Lehman of Seven Springs, North Carolina; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins..

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio with Full Military Honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
