Gary L. Crank

Gary L. Crank, 67, of Lewisburg, OH died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on April 22, 1948 in Preble County, OH he was the son of the late John C. & Annie F. (McCarty) Crank. Gary was a self-employed handyman and has lived in Preble County most all of his life. Preceded in death by a sister: Linda Upton in 2009 and infant daughter: Lisa Darlene Crank.

Survived by his wife: Peggy J. (Schilling) Crank; children: Brenda Rucker of Tennessee; Gary Lee Crank, Jr. of Kentucky; Billy Schilling, Tommy (Liz) Crank, John Crank and Corinna Crank all of Ohio; sisters: Marlene (Barry) Libecap and Connie (Ralph) Beam of Eaton, OH. 10 grandchildren: Kayden Schilling, Brayden Schilling, Ashley Schilling; Austin Crank, Adam Crank, Dylan Crank, Johnathan Crank, Jason Crank, Jacob Smith and Elizabeth Smith and 3 great grandchildren: Cameron & Maleigha Hammac and Bralyn Schilling; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 10:30AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2105 at the Grace Brethren Community Church – 3110 U.S. Rt. 35 West Alexandria, OH. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM at the church with Pastor Elbert Sorrell officiating. Burial will be in Preble Memory Gardens.
