Gary D. Silver

GARY DEAN SILVER, 70, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Middletown, Ohio died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Heartland of Eaton. Gary was born on February 4, 1942 in Eaton, son of the late Maurice C. and Betty Lucille (Cottrell) Silver. He was a 1960 graduate of Eaton High School and attended the Eaton Baptist Temple. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Maury and Jack Silver.

Gary is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Katie & Mark Brooks of Middletown and Jewell Folta of Mason, Ohio; grandchildren, Dustin Dalton, Wes Watkins, Brad Watkins; brothers and sister-in-law, Michael Silver of Eaton and Danny & Sonja Silver of Orange Park, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Penny & Mic McGuire of Eaton; good friends and caregivers, Mary Collins and Bradley Patton of Middletown; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Youth Activities Center, 306 Seven Mile Drive (Park Ave), Eaton, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes, Inc. - Eaton Chapel.
