G. William “Bill” Pepper, age 85 of New Paris, OH died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at his residence. Born on October 20, 1917 in Hampshire County, West Virginia, the son of the late Grover Cleveland & Elsie V. (Davis) Pepper. He retired in 1975 from Dana Corporation in Richmond, Indiana after 33 years of service. He was a member of the 25 Club of Dana Corporation; Moose Lodge #167 at Richmond, Indiana; 1962 & 1963 Past Gov. Of Moose Lodge District; Druids of Richmond, Indiana; Eldorado United Methodist Church and has lived in Preble County most all of his life. Preceded in death by his Wife: Betty C. (Arthur) Pepper in May 2002; Brother: Wayne Davis Pepper and Sister: Ila E. Brandon.
Survived by Son & Daughter-In-Law: James W. & Janice Pepper of Lewisburg, Ohio; Daughter: Carole Sue Stevens of The Plains, Ohio; 8 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2003 - 10:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home -109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH 45347 with Rev. Steve Abernathy officiating. Interment will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, Ohio.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
