Fred Damron, Jr.

Fred “Kamel” Damron, Jr., 79, of Lewisburg, OH went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Born on December 11, 1937 in Wheelwright, Kentucky, son of the late Fred & Arminda (Stewart) Damron.

He proudly served as a specialist in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Belle; brother, Robert and sister, Emily.

Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Annette (Bullion) Damron; sons Tony, Fred (Sherry), Mark (Catie), brothers, Tim and Fletcher, sisters, Louise, Donna, Barb, and Kathy, grandchildren, Dan (Kim), Casey (Freddy), Arminda (Chris), Misty (Mike), Brandon, Matthew (Rachael), Marissa (Nico), Heather (Chris) and Drake and 13 great grandchildren.

The entire family would like to Recognize the endless sacrifices made by Mindy & Chris Flory.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Tim Hamilton officiating. Interment will be held at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville, OH with full military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard.
