Frank Ray Ford

Frank R. Ford, 54, of New Paris, Ohio, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on April 5, 1957 in Greenville, Ohio. Frank retired in 2003 after 25 years as a Detective with the Preble County Sheriff's Department. Frank was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Riders, and was an avid motorcyclist and golfer.

Preceded by mother, Constance Ilene "Connie" Ford in 2011; father, Henry E. Ford in 1993; brother, Thomas H. "Tom" Ford in 2007; son, Charles "Chad" Ford in 2010.

Survived by his wife, Tammy Ford of New Paris, Ohio; step children, Evan Emrick and Erin Emrick; sister, Julie B. McKnight of New Paris; grandson, Luke Keesler; niece, Tara Ford; nephew, Nicholas McKnight; great nephew, Jason Vicich.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Valleys Edge Lodge, 8295 St. Rt. 121 N., New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Tim Love officiating. Interment will be held at Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio with honors provided by the Preble County Sheriff's Department.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Valleys Edge Lodge, 8295 St. Rt. 121 N., New Paris, Ohio 45347.
