Forrest G. Swihart

Forrest G. Swihart, age 94, of Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at The Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on March 22, 1913 in Preble County, Ohio he was the son of the late Calvin E. & Laura I. (Stephen) Swihart. Forrest was a Drafting Engineer and Preble County Farmer and retired in 1976 from the Rexarc Corporation in West Alexandria, OH. He was a member of the Undenominational Church. His wife: Vivian Esta (Layman) Swihart died in 1986 and a sister: Treva Hapner in 1986.

Survived by daughters: Carolyn Bucher of Loveland, OH and Deanna Wentz of Eaton, OH; son & daughter-in-law: Dan & Yvonne “Bonnie” Swihart of Eaton, OH. sister: Lucille Pease of New Madison, OH. 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio with John Willbur and Carlton Schooley officiating. Interment will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, OH. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
