Fonda Faye (Shaffer) Boomershine

Fonda F. (Shaffer) Boomershine, 71, of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Grandview Hospital. Born on August 27, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. & Alma L. (Bland) Shaffer. Fonda was a 1971 Eaton High School graduate and attended Sinclair Community College. She retired from Green Tokai in Brookville, Ohio. Fonda loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved her cat “Skunk” and devoted a lot of her time and love to the pets she had throughout her lifetime. Fonda found great passion in singing, dancing and all of the finer things in life.

Survived by children: Amy Schaeff of West Alexandria, OH; Carrie Schaeff of Eaton, OH; Randy & Jari Schaeff of Eaton, OH; Grandchildren: Kelse Schaeff; Richie Coates; Ansleigh Coates; Logan Coates; Taylor Schaeff; Kaitlyn Schaeff; 5 Great Grandchildren: Annabella, Vincent, Sunny, Willow and Keegan. Sisters: Vickie L. Shaffer and Vivian A. Shaffer both of Eaton, OH; Nieces & Nephews: Christy & Ian Campbell of West Alexandria, OH; Mistin & A.J. Beatty of Kentucky; Olivia Campbell and Eithan Campbell both of West Alexandria, OH.; Kelly Turner of Eaton, OH; Kimberly Turner & son Nolan Jerdon of Columbus, OH. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday June 24, 2024, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home and the burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio.
