Floyd E. Arp

FLOYD E. ARP, age 90, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, September 23, 2004 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Eaton. Born September 7, 1914 in Eaton, Ohio, he was the son of the late George and Clara S. (Diefenbaugh) Arp. He retired in 1984 from the Register Herald where he had been the Circulation Manager. He was a WWII veteran in the United States Army Air Corps. Member of the V.F.W. Post 8066 in Eaton and the Eaton Church of the Brethren. He is preceded in death by his wife: Martha B. Arp in 2002 ; Son: Floyd Arp in 1944; Brother: Mervin Arp and Sister: Izora Berry.

He is survived by his Son and Daughter-in-law: James L. & Linda S. Arp of Eaton, Ohio and Daughters and Sons-in-law: Brenda K. & John Carmony of Iron Station, North Carolina and Joy D. & Lewis Sparrow of Eaton, Ohio. Four Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home-220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. James Harvey officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery-Eaton, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard . Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 25, 2004 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Eaton Emergency Squad -P.O.
