Floyd Dale Spencer

Floyd Dale Spencer, age 66 of New Paris, Ohio died on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Ayden Healthcare in Greenville, Ohio. Born on November 5, 1955 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, son of the late Garland & Novella (Allen) Spencer.

Dale had worked at the Nickel Saver and was Manager at New Paris Oil, Lube Division for several years.

Dale loved hunting in Kentucky and enjoyed watching the University of Kentucky’s Basketball on TV. Dale also loved fishing in Ohio with his grandchildren and friends. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded by his sisters, Evelyn Morgan and Barbara Noble; brother, Troy Spencer.

Survived by his wife of 36 years, Marnita Spencer; daughters, Elizabeth (Primo) Castellanos and Sarah (Drew Merrett) Spencer; 6 grandchildren, Cody (Casey) Williams, Breanna (Chase) Brittenham, Carlos (Haley) Osorio, Johnathon (Jaelynn) Osorio, Jadelyn (Elijah) Osorio and Spencer Merrett; 5 great grandchildren, Elliott, Kyson, Charlee, Julian and Mariana; brothers, Winnie Spencer and Larry Spencer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; his dogs, Nakita, Tequila and Canela.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday prior to the funeral.
