Florence Mable Crank

FLORENCE MABLE CRANK, age 89, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born on March 21, 1920 in Dixon Township, Preble Co., Ohio, she was the daughter of the late McKinley W. & Fannie Jane (Moore) Taylor. Mable volunteered for the Women's Relief Corps in Eaton and Newcomerstown, Ohio. Member of the Eaton Baptist Temple.

Preceded by her husband, Howard Crank in 1997; sister, Edith Daner Taylor in 1923; brother, Gerald L. Taylor in 1962; grandson, Jamey Crank in 2007.

Survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Irvin E. Crank of Newcomerstown, Ohio, Harold L. & Rhonda Crank of Richmond, Indiana and Howard B. & Charlene Crank of Augusta, Georgia; daughters & sons-in-law, Carolyn Patricia & John Yadloski of Parachute, Colorado and Janet & Steve Hines of Lexington, Kentucky; brother, Lloyd Zebedee Taylor of Dayton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 30 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held at Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the funeral home.
