Florence "Jean" Loranzan

Florence "Jean" Loranzan, 77, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of West Alexandria, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Eaton. Born on July 23, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Flossie (Caldwell) Ratcliff. Jean was a retired Nursing Assistant at the Preble County Home (now Vancrest) and was an active member of the Eaton Church of God. She was a talented artist, loved poetry, music and her Lord and Savior.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Les Loranzan, Sr. in 1985; son, Robert Loranzan in 2008; brothers, D. Edward and Edgar Ratcliff, Jr. and sisters, Dorothy Ratcliff and Ann Steelman.

Jean is survived by her children, Carol (Don) Mox; Les (Teri) Loranzan, Jr.; Janice (Arch) Cornett; Joyce (Mark) Northern; Danny (Sheila) Loranzan; Darrell Loranzan, Alice (Rodney) Upton and Vanessa (Tim) Vernon; sister, Mary Green and over 90 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and her beloved maltese, "Baby".

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Homes, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Johnny Ward officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
