Flora Idella Lakes

Flora Idella Lakes, age 89, of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, July 12, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Born August 16, 1920 in Germantown, Montgomery County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Wesley & Flora Jane (Fouts) Moyer. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Lewisburg, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband Paul Raymond Lakes in 1990, Daughters: Sandra Gale Elliott died 2009 and Lois Jean Blankenship in 2010; 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

Survived by Daughters: Mary Deeter of Horseheads, NY, Luanna Fairley of Hillsboro, OH, Myrtle Shepard of Lewisburg, OH, Linda Lakes of Greenfield, OH; Idella Brown of Lewisburg; Sons: C. Raymond Lakes of Germantown, OH and Laren Lakes of Lewisburg, OH.; 24 Grandchildren and 34 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 16, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH 45338 with Rev. George Pennington officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
