Federick E. Wheeler

Frederick E. Wheeler, age 73, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at his residence. Born on October 14, 1931 in Preble County, Ohio he was the son of the late William H. & Berneice L. (Pence) Wheeler. Fred retired in January 1969 from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He had worked at Delco Products in Dayton retiring in 1989 after 19 years of service. Member of A.A.R.P.; 25 year member of the U.S. Trotting Association; Life Member of V.F.W. post 3288 - Brookville, Ohio; American Legion Post 322 of West Alexandria, Ohio and attended the Lutheran Church in Farmersville, Ohio. Preceded in death by brother: Paul Edward Wheeler in 1941.

Survived by wife of 34 years: Mary H. (Stoops) Wheeler; sons: Michael Wheeler of New York; Jack Wheeler of Louisville, KY; daughter: Gail Wheeler of Eaton, Ohio; step daughter & son-in-law: Cathy Lynn & Dennis Mills of New Lebanon, Ohio; step son & daughter-in-law: Steven Andrew & Carolyn Waymire of Bartlett, Tenn.; sisters: Nancy Gardner of West Alexandria, Ohio and Rose Mary Wehrley of Eaton, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchild.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 13, 2005 - 11:00 am (Ohio Time) at Twin Valley Cemetery - West Alexandria, Ohio. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
