Faye E. Kinner

Faye E. Kinner, age 92 formerly of Eaton, OH died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove, PA. Born on February 21, 1922 in Darke County, OH she was the daughter of the late Harley & Marie (Weaver) Weisenbarger. She moved to Eaton in 1934 where she graduated from Eaton High School in 1939. In 1942 she married Estle "Bud" Kinner.

While living in Eaton, she worked at Moysey Brothers and Parker Hannifin. Shortly after her husband's death, she moved to New York City where she worked for KBI, Cabot Industries and Ables Capital Investments.

Faye had been a Cub Scout leader and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eaton before leaving the Eaton area. She was also a member of the Business and Professional Women. After retiring, she moved to Oxford, PA where she was a member of XYZ at Ware Presbyterian Church and the Oxford Area Senior Citizens Center of Oxford, PA.

Faye was an avid golfer and enjoyed quilting, painting and various crafts. She was captivated with Jazz and attended many jazz festivals across the country. Where there was music, you would find her dancing.

Preceded in death by her husband: Estle "Bud" Kinner in 1966; sister: Marian Weisenbarger in 1917; brothers: Weaver A. Weisenbarger in 2001, Leland V. Weisenbarger in 1998 and George A. Weisenbarger in 1942.

Survivors: children: Sam D. & Cindy (Brown) Kinner of Eaton, OH; Terry & Beth (Hopkinson) Kinner of Chino Valley, AZ; Allen L. Kinner of Oxford, PA and Ellen (Kinner) and Kenny Saucier of Peach Springs, AZ; sisters: Doris E. & William Stebbins of Englewood, OH, Phyllis J. Bechtol of Phoenix, AZ and Adele M. Richter of Eaton, OH; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Rinehart officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery – Eaton, OH.
