Evelyn Shannon, age 59, of Somerville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Somerville, Ohio. Born on February 13, 1954 in Fairfield, Ohio, daughter of the late, Estill & Virgie M. (Dean) Pendergrass. Member of the Paducah Ave. Baptist Church in Fairfield, Ohio.

Preceded by her father, Estill Pendergrass in 2005; mother, Virgie M. (Dean) Pendergrass in 2011.

Survived by her husband of 37 years, John Shannon of Somerville, Ohio; sisters, Louise Barnes and Joan Eversole; brothers, Estill Pendergrass, Jr. and Rick Pendergrass; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Nein Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311 with Pastor Douglas Rose officiating. Interment will be held at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home in Camden, Ohio.
