Evelyn Rose Collins

EVELYN ROSE COLLINS, age 86, of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on June 28, 1920 in Irvine, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ernest J. & Edna (Williams) Reynolds. Evelyn retired in 1987 after 10 years with Baxter Lab. She attended the Eaton Church of the Nazarene for 50 years. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur N. Collins, Sr.; brothers: Fred Reynolds, Edward Reynolds, and E. C. Reynolds; sisters: Ethel Tudor and Elba Long.

She is survived by her son: Art Collins, Jr. of Kettering, Ohio; daughter: Rose Ella Hartman of Eaton, Ohio; brothers: Ezra Reynolds of Kansas and Eldridge Reynolds of Castine, Ohio; sister: Edith Bailey of Middletown, Ohio; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Pastor Elbert H. Sorrell, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday July 16, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio.
