Eugene P. Muth

EUGENE P. MUTH, 74, of Lewisburg, OH, died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on June 9, 1934 in Richmond, IN, son of the late Peter Paul Muth & Zitta C.(Schuh) Muth. He was a 1952 graduate of Chaminade-Julienne High School in Dayton and was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for Sherwin Williams in Dayton, Ryan Air in Vandalia, OH and Henny Penny in Eaton until his retirement. He attended the Lewisburg United Methodist Church in Lewisburg and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns.

Survived by wife of 32 years, Dola R. (Huston) Brown- Muth; sister, Greta Harlett of Dayton; nieces, Rita (Jerry) Ward of Edmond, OK and Karen Simpson of Wichita, KS; nephews, Tim, Ed and David Harlett all of Dayton; great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Michael D. Pratt officiating. Interment with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
