Esther M. Ridenour

Esther M. Ridenour, age 85 of Eaton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Born on December 12, 1938 in Jackson Twp., Preble Co., Ohio, daughter of the late Barney E. & Edna P. (Krall) Stemple.

Member of Eaton Methodist Church. She had worked at the Indianapolis Glove Co., Lewisburg Container, and was a sewing machine operator for the Clifton Shirt Co.

Preceded by her 1st husband, Carl E. Reiff; 2nd husband, Robert A. Ridenour; sons, Ernest G. Reiff and Raymond E. Reiff; stepson, John R. Ridenour; brothers, Jerry L. Stemple, Charles R. Stemple; great granddaughter, Emily Reiff; step granddaughter, Shadey Bowling.

Survived by her sons, David (Terri) Reiff, and Mark (Mary) Reiff; stepson, David (Diane) Ridenour; stepdaughters, Linda (Jeff) Jordan, Carol Beagley, Mary (Carl) Rader, and Susan Ridenour; sisters, Patricia Prevatt, Hilda Henderson and Norma Reiff; brother, Robert Stemple; numerous grandchildren & step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren & step great grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. John Richards officiating. Interment will be held at College Corner Cemetery in Indiana. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
