ESTELLA L. WILT, age 92, of Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Eldorado, Ohio, died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 7, 1912 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Howard C. & Mae (Copeland) LaFollette. Estella’s mother died giving birth to her and was later adopted by the late William E. & Nora (Doty) Michael of Monroe Twp., Preble County, Ohio. She was a co-owner with her husband of the Sunbeam Bread Agency #51 in Eldorado and was a telephone operator for the Village of Eldorado for many years. Member of the Eldorado United Methodist Church where she played the piano and organ for 30 years, Daughters of America - Prosperity Council #163 in Arcanum, Ohio. Preceded in death by Husband: George Edward Wilt in 1987. Over the years she found that she had several siblings some of which are now deceased.
Survivors include Half-Sister: Kathryn Young, Amarillo, Texas; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 4, 2005 - 1:00 p.m. (Ohio Time) at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home - 311 North Main Street - Eldorado, Ohio with Pastor Barbara Kiracofe and Pastor Tung Za Pau officiating. Interment will be held in Greemound Cemetery in New Madison, Ohio. A public viewing will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (Ohio Time) Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the funeral home.
