Erskine J. Trone

Erskine J. Trone, age 81 of Lewisburg, OH died Friday, November 29, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 14, 1920 in Monroe Township, Preble County, Ohio he was the son of the late William B. & Pearl (Shumaker) Trone. He was a 1939 Lewisburg High School graduate and W.W. II Navy Veteran. Retired from Chrysler after 29 years. Member of American Legion and V.F.W. both of Lewisburg and the Lewisburg Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by his wife: K. Joyce (McDermott) Trone in 1972; Brothers: William Trone Jr. in 1922, Donald W. “Jake” Trone in 1990, Max Trone in 1991, Dale Trone in 1980 and John F. Trone in 2001.

Survivors: Son: Joseph S. Trone of Lewisburg, Ohio; Daughter & Son-In-Law: Joann E. & Stephen Combs of Lewisburg, Ohio; Sister: Violet Marie Bell of Sarasota, Fl. Grandchildren: Shelley K. & John Offenbacker and Connie & Lee Sines; Great Grandchildren: Jacob Offenbacker and Gavin Sines. Niece: Marcia Barlow.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 - 12:00 PM
at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg with full Military Service by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
