Ernest G. Baker

ERNEST G. BAKER, age 88, of Lewisburg, Ohio died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Born on March 26, 1917 in Perry Twp., Montgomery County, Ohio, he was the son of the late George & Jessie (Good) Baker. He retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for Twin Valley South Schools and had also worked at Twin Valley North. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. Preceded in death by Sisters: Irene Hoover, Marie Keller and Dorothy Kolling.

Survived by Wife of 66 years: R. Francine (O'Dell) Baker; Son & Daughter-in-law: Ronald & Pam Baker, Lewisburg, Ohio; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Judy & John Cahill, Eaton, Ohio; Cheryl & Robert Bertke, Lewisburg, Ohio. Grandchildren: Jodi (Larry) Gray, Jeff (Kim) Baker, Todd Baker, Traci (David) Cooper, Nicolle (Alec) Carnes, Kimberly (Charlie) Ebbing and Curt Cahill. Great Grandchildren: Austin Gray, Garrett Gray, Courtney Cooper, Hunter Cooper, Sydney Carnes, Samantha Carnes and Karson Ebbing.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce St. - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg with full military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9, 2006 from 4 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
