Emogene Sipe, age 74 of Richmond, IN died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on February 21, 1935 in Richmond, IN she was the daughter of the late George & Alsie (Gwinn) Swallow. Emogene had worked for Davis Jenkens as a Bride Consultant; K-Mart Department Office Manager and at Sears in Oklahoma City at the cash office. She was a Life member of the American Legion Post 360 and Legion Auxiliary Marching Unit in New Paris; Past President of the New Paris Village Council; and Life Member and Past President of the Amvets Post 726 in Eldorado, OH. Preceded in death by her husband: Roy O. Sipe in 2009 and Grandson: Donnie Middleton in 2008.
