Emma D. Crabtree

Emma D. Crabtree age 73 of New Paris, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, September 1, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. Born on April 4, 1950, in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel V. & Genevieve L. (Creager) Crabtree. Emma was active in the Montgomery County Workshop and the Foundations Workshop.

Survived by Sisters & Brothers: Juanita Dunlavy of Chesterfield, SC. Cinda & Jim Brown of Clayton, Ohio, Sharon Ball of Salina, Kansas, and Linda & Tony Taylor of Laura, Ohio; Walter Creager of Temple, TX, Sam & Peggy Crabtree, and Jerome & Christine Crabtree both of New Paris, OH; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home – 109 West Main Street New Paris, OH. The funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Whalen officiating. The interment will be held in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Indiana.
