Elsie M. Shilts

Elsie M. Shilts age 89 of New Paris, Ohio passed away on Monday March 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born on May 29, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Dee & Maude (Walling) Thomas and had 12 brothers and sisters. She retired from the Dana Corporation in Richmond in 1992. She enjoyed Bowling in several bowling leagues in Richmond and traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada and area Casinos. Past member of Delta Theta Tau, Girl Scout Leader in New Paris and Loved her family very much. 

Preceded in death by husband of 29 years: V. Gayle “Tiny” Shilts in 2004. 

Survived by her children: Patty J. Andrews of New Paris, OH and Jimmy & Vikki Shonkwiler of Muskegon, MI. Grandchildren: Angela & Barry Johnson Gilpin, Kimberly Johnson, Misha Shonkwiler, Kayleigh & Nathan Shonkwiler Qualley; great grandchildren: Hayley & Ryley Qualley and Jayden Rogers.
