Ellene E. Allen

Ellene E. Allen, 83, of Somerville, Ohio, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. Ellene was born on December 10, 1927 in Preble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett and Florence (Schul) Roberts. She was a 1946 graduate of West Elkton High School, member of the Butler County Antique Machinery Club and attended the West Elkton United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: J. Earl Allen in 1993 and her brother: Alvin Roberts.

Ellene is survived by her sons: John Allen of New Lebanon, Ohio and Joe E. Allen of Somerville; grandson and wife: John Scott and Tonya Allen of New Paris, Ohio and great grandchildren: John Paul, Zacc, Emily, Matt, Seth and Lillian Allen.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the West Elkton United Methodist Church, 120 S. Main St.,(St. Rt. 503) West Elkton, Ohio 45070 with Rev. Sandy Apgar officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, Ohio.
