Ellen Rose Swank-Grove

ELLEN ROSE SWANK - GROVE, age 92, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Eaton. Born on October 28, 1914 in Arcanum, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Sylvan J. & Linna O. (Rose) Brandenburg. She was a 1932 graduate of Jefferson High School in New Paris and was a graduate of the Richmond Business College in Richmond, Indiana. She retired in 1979 from the Cooper-Pool Insurance Company in Eaton where she had been a secretary for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband: Germaine V. Swank in 1980 and her second husband Richard Grove in 2006.

Ellen Rose is survived by her niece, her cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Barnes Funeral Home- 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery in Ft. Jefferson (Darke County), Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
