Ellen L. Hamilton, 81 of West Alexandria, OH died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, OH.

Born on November 14, 1935 in Farmersville, Montgomery County, OH she was the daughter of the late Roy & Ethel (Shank) Winfield. Ellen attended Eaton Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by her brother: William Winfield and sister: Elizabeth "Betty" Suggs in 2016.

Survived by her husband of 61 years: W. Robert Hamilton; Sons & daughter-in-law: Kent & Brenda Hamilton of Eaton, OH and Kurt Hamilton of Sebring, FL; Daughter-In-Law: Joan Hamilton of Germantown, OH; grandchildren: Kelly & Jamey McQueen; Kyle & Erica Hamilton; Ian Hamilton and Mariah Hamilton; 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home 220 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio. The funeral service 10:00 AM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Denlinger officiating. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery near West Alexandria, OH.
