Ella Lucille (Clayman) Pease, age 84 of Englewood, Ohio and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, November 14, 2022, in Englewood. She was born on October 31, 1938, in Preble County, Ohio, daughter of the late George William and Mary Lou (Peters) Clayman.
Ella was a 1957 graduate of Jackson High School and had worked for many years as a secretary at US Bank in Eaton and had also worked in security for the Dayton International Airport. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 167 in Richmond, Indiana; The Fraternal Order of Eagles # 2202 in Eaton and the American Legion Post 360 in New Paris, Ohio. She loved music and going dancing with her friends.
In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her sisters, Flora Hofacker and Rosie Clayman; brothers, Ray, James “Jack”, Robert, and John Clayman, and Chester (Pete) Taylor.
She is survived by her children, Tammy Lemmons, Teresa (Keith Kasten) Newbauer, L. Duane (Andrea) Pease, Jr., and Robin Russell; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, and nephews.
At her request, Ella donated her body to the Wright State University School of Medicine. A graveside service will be held later at the convenience of the family in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Arrangements are entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton, Ohio.
