Elizabeth T. Armstrong

Elizabeth T. Armstrong, age 97, formerly of Camden, OH, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Alterra Sterling House in Mansfield, OH. Born on June 23, 1913 in Eaton, Preble County, OH she was the daughter of the late Edward & Sarah (Newton) Thompson. Elizabeth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Camden, served as an Elder of the church for several years and the Preble County Board of Elections. Preceded in death by her Husband of 46 years: Archie T. Armstrong in 1977; Daughter: Joan Bowman in 2005; three Brothers and two Sisters.

Survived by Sons & Daughters-In-Law: John A. & Norma Armstrong of Mansfield, OH and Archie E. & Phyllis Armstrong of Camden, OH; 10 Grandchildren; several Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, OH. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
