Elizabeth M. "Liz" Collins

Elizabeth M. “Liz” Collins, age 102 of Eaton, Ohio died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Vancrest of Eaton. Born on January 24, 1920, in Eaton, Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Charles F. & Mesoda (Massoud) Mosey.

Liz was a 1938 Eaton High School graduate and attended Northwestern University for 3 years. She was a Secretary for several Companies in Chicago, Ill. from 1944 to 1967; Cincinnati 1967 to 1999; McLean Trucking of Cincinnati from 1967 to 1980 and Westfield Insurance Company in Springdale, Ohio.

Member of Visitation Catholic Church, St. Anne’s Sodality, Volunteer for Birthright of Preble County, Republican Women and Eaton Senior Citizens.

Preceded in death by 1st husband: Edward Awad a WWII Navy Veteran, 2nd Husband: Ralph W. Collins in 1994, brothers & sisters: Annabel Mosey in 1931, George F. Mosel in 1938, Hazel Mosey Longenecker in 2001, Blanche V. Mosey in 1939, Joseph G. Mosey in 1988, Mary Mosey Teal Hampton in 1994 and Josephine Mosey in 1917.

Survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial mass will be held 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Visitation Catholic Church – 401 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio. Inurnment will be in Mound Hill Cemetery Eaton, Ohio after the Mass.
