Eilene B. Meadors

Eilene B. (Moore) Meadors, 82, of Camden, OH, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford, OH. Born on December 28, 1928 in Whitley, Co., KY, daughter of the late George R. & Mildred O. (Marsee) Moore.

Eilene was a member of the Preble Co. Republican Women's Club, Preble County Historical Society, Preble County Board of Mental Health, Preble County Head Start, Ladies Literary Club, International Poetry Association, and D. A. R., Commodore Preble Chapter of Eaton, OH. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ Later Day Saints.

Eilene retired after 10 years as a secretary for Meadors Machine Shop in Gasper Township, Preble Co., Ohio.

Preceded by daughter, Pamela Huffer in 2001; son-in-law, Gerald Monceaux; brothers, Thomas Moore and Lonzo Moore.

Survivors include husband of 64 years, Edgar O. Meadors of Camden, OH; children & spouse, Donna Sue Monceaux of Camden, Ohio, Dennis & Jean Meadors of Pensacola, FL, John Meadors of Camden, OH, Connie McIntosh of Camden, OH, and Michael Meadors of Camden, OH; son-in-law, Donald Huffer of Camden, OH; sister, Kathy Brashear of Trenton, OH; brothers & sisters-in-law, Donald & Geneva Moore of Hamilton, OH and Kenneth & Ginny Moore of Somerville, OH; grandchildren: Scott, Tonya, Rob, Michael, Danny, Barbie, Karen, Johnny, Christopher, Andrew, Crystal, Sara, Rachel, April, Charles, Rebecca; 25 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311 with Branch President Carl Gustafson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
