Eileen Lamson

Eileen Lamson, age 74 of New Paris, Ohio died Monday, March 8, 2004 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 12, 1929 in Portsmouth, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. & Beryl Marie (Dillow) Souders. A 1947 Richmond High School graduate, she had lived in New Paris since 1950 and was a past member of the Ampcioa Sorority of New Paris, Ohio. Preceded in death by Husband: Charles “Chuck” M. Lamson in 1997, Sisters: Naida Mallett, Jean Hamilton & Mary Ann Dawson; Brothers: Jack Souders & William Souders.
Survivors include Daughter: Billi Jo Lamson of New Paris, Ohio. Son: Scott Lamson of New Paris, Ohio; Sisters: Janet Dugger of Inverness, FL and Sondra Norman of Columbus, OH, Grandchildren: Hannah Moreton , Seth Lamson and Trevor Lamson.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, 2:00 P.M., March 11, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio, with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 11, 2004 prior to the service at the funeral home.
