Eileen F. Markey

Eileen F. Markey, 96, of Eaton, OH, went to rest with Daddy in the Lord's Arms on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Born on August 12, 1920 in Eaton, OH, daughter of the late Clifford Thomas & Violet Valora (Fogle) Charles. 1939 graduate of Eaton High School. Eileen had worked as a secretary for attorney's in Eaton, a switchboard operator for the telephone company in Eaton, Eaton City Loan for 20 years and retired in 1985 from Westvaco after 22 years of service. Member of the Friendship Circle Quilters. Member of the Eaton United Methodist Church. Eileen Loved her family very much.

Preceded in death by her Husband of 53 years, Leonard Lowell Markey in 2000; Infant Son, Rodney Markey in 1955; Brothers, Clifford Thomas Charles in 1996 and George O. Charles in 2016; Sister, Wanda June Clawson in 2016; Brother-in-law, Robert Eugene "Gene" Eck in 2006.

Survived by her Children, Ronald L. "Ronnie" Markey, Rebecca L. (Bernard) Lehman and Thomas G. (Sharon) Markey; Sister, Roberta Eck; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandsons.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Eaton United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple St, Eaton, OH 45320 with Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. Interment will be held at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, OH. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
