Edwin L. Ransbottom

Edwin L. Ransbottom, age 89 of Eaton, Ohio died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Heartland of Eaton, OH. Born on September 27, 1917 in Elida, Allen County, Ohio he was the son of the late Ross E. & Norma (Blunden) Ransbottom. He was a 1937 Elida High School graduate, W.W. II U.S. Army Air Corps, 1947 B.S. from Bowling Green State University, and the Industrial Arts and Drivers Training Teacher at Twin Valley South School for 23 years, Licensed small plane pilot. Preceded in death by wife: Evelyn Wingfield Ransbottom in 1992 and sister: Lorene Thompson in 1992.

Survived by son and daughter-in-law: E. Lee & Kathy D. Ransbottom of Oxford, AL; grandsons: Jason A. Ransbottom of Al and Brandon L. (Debra) Ransbottom of Findley, OH; Great grandson: Kaleb A. Ransbottom.

Services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2006 at the convenience of the family at Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Arrangements entrusted to
