Edward H. Tucker

Edward H. Tucker, 78 of Eaton, Ohio died Monday, September 28, 2020 at Vancrest Health Care in Eaton, Ohio. Born on October 22, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio he was the son of the late John F. & Edith C. (Chamberlin) Tucker. Ed was a 1959 graduate of Eaton High School; attended Bowling Green State University and member of the Swim Team. He worked for the Department of Parks & Recreation at Hueston Woods State Park, Supervisor for the Ohio Department of Transportation for 34 years and was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Eaton where he was song leader and choir member. 

Preceded in death by brother-in-law: Bruce R. Hawley in 2010. 

Survived by son & daughter-in-law: Curtis Edward & Mendy (Spencer) Tucker; sister: Elaine R. Hawley; grandsons: Aaron Tucker and Jacob Tucker; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Stensaas officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Cemetery – Eaton, Ohio.
